Real Estate Purchase Conditions for Turkish Citizenship

It has been decided to increase the real estate value to be purchased for the application for Turkish citizenship from 250 thousand dollars to at least 400 thousand dollars.

It will not be enough to purchase real estate in the amount of 400 thousand dollars or equivalent foreign currency for citizenship application.

3-year transfer and abandonment will not be possible.

The purchased immovable must have an annotation that it cannot be sold for 3 years in the title deed. In addition, it is necessary to obtain a document from the notary that 3 years of transfer and cancellation cannot be made.

If the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change determines that the conditions are met, the applicants will be able to acquire Turkish citizenship by the decision of the President.
