Antalya, which stands out as Turkey's tourism capital, is attracting attention with its increasing hotel investments in recent years. Dozens of new hotel projects are planned across the city between 2025 and 2027, with a total investment expected to reach billions of Turkish Lira.
According to sector data, over 18 billion TL has been invested in hotels in Antalya in the last two years, creating more than 8,000 new rooms. During the same period, interest from international investors has also increased, with more than 30 new hotel projects planned for the city.
Luxury Segment Takes Center Stage
The majority of new investments consist of 4 and 5-star hotels. Projects targeting the upper segment of tourism are particularly in the focus of investors. With increasing interest from international hotel chains in the region, branded hotel investments aim to further elevate Antalya's tourism profile.

Among the recently announced projects, there are investments exceeding the billion-lira level. New hotel projects have been initiated in many districts, primarily Alanya and Aksu. A significant portion of these projects are planned to open in 2026 and 2027.

Antalya's hosting of millions of tourists every year is cited as the most important factor in the increase in hotel investments. The city maintains its attractiveness for investors, especially thanks to strong demand from the European and Russian markets.

Experts point out that competition is also increasing along with the rising investments. Factors such as high investment costs, operating expenses, and seasonality continue to be risk factors for investors.
